  • Find the full text articles from published newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals in subscription databases available to PCC students through the library web site.

  • Business Source Premier
    EBSCOhost. Full text for over 3,000 journals covering business, management, economics, finance, banking, accounting, and more. Resources for country profiles include Country Reports by the Economist Intelligence Unit; Country Reports in the Political Risk Yearbook; Background Notes from the State Department; etc. Search tip: select "SU Subject Term" to search for your country, and sort your search results by Relevance.

Statistical Information on International Trade

Statistical Abstract of the United States is an authoritative source for international trade data compiled by various government agencies. In its wisdom, Congress killed funding for this compilation in October, 2011. However, it can be used to track down which agency compiles the data you want.

Advanced Google Searching

Improve the effectiveness of your search by using Google Advanced Search to limit your results to a particular domain. 

First conduct a standard search, then select the Advanced Search link.  In the field for "Search within a site or domain" enter the letters for a specific web site or domain.  For example:

gov (to limit your search to U.S. government sites) (to limit your search to the Department of State web site)
th (to limit your search to sites with a Thai domain)
