Resources include planning guides, evaluation frameworks, communication materials, behavioral and risk factor data, fact sheets, scientific articles, key reports and state and local program contacts.

HealthierUS.gov - A national effort to improve people's lives, prevent and reduce the costs of disease, and promote community health and wellness. This Web site is part of a broad presidential agenda designed to help Americans, especially children, live longer, better, and healthier lives. The site provides credible, accurate information to help Americans choose healthier habits.

Pathways to Public Health - This site, produced by the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH), provides information and resources for talented young people interested in exploring careers in public health, and for the teachers, school counselors, and others who work with them.

State Health Facts: Oregon - Part of a larger resource sponsored by the Henry Kaiser Foundation and covering all 50 states, this site offers comprehensive statistical information on such topics as health coverage and the uninsured, minority health, HIV/AIDS, and Medicare.

Through the Eyes of the Eagle

The first in a video series produced by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and targeted at health issues affecting Native American children, "Through the Eyes of the Eagle" introduces viewers to the characters of Mr. Eagle and Rain That Dances, the American Indian boy he befriends. Mr. Eagle reminds the boy of the healthy ways and wisdom of his elders.

PCC Library has lots of resources that you can use on your own. You may already know that about the quiet study spaces as well as study rooms you can reserve.

Citing sources is another way you can help yourself! PCC Library has all the information you need on Cite Sources. The library also has video tutorials on everything from how to develop a topic for your paper to figuring out how to incorporate those citations.
