How to Cite your Sources
NOTE: Both the APA and MLA citation styles changed in 2009. BUT, many of the citations provided by Ebsco and other database providers are still in the old format. Check with your instructor to see if they want you to use the newest versions.
All of the programs below are 'pretty good'. If your instructor is a stickler, be sure to double-check your results with the style guide link "Citing Sources," listed below the three citation makers.

An online version of McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology and McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Scientific and Technical Terms. In addition to 8,000+ articles there are biographies, research updates,and science news. The student center provides study guides and bibliographies.

- The full name of the IEEE is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., although the organization is referred to by the letters I-E-E-E and pronounced Eye-triple-E. The History Center is very good, with events of the day, a "Virtual Museum" with sections on Electronic Musical Instruments, Women in Technology, etc. FREE!
